I fully expect him to be there. It will give other rookies an opportunity to see what they're up against. I believe internal competition through the development pipeline is essential to a winning culture down the road.

You think our prospects being exposed to a player like Demidov in scrimmages, practices and exhibition games isn't beneficial to them? I 100% think it is and I'm fairly confident management does to. Demidov will be at rookie camp. Book it.

Only 2 seasons in the OHL and he is already this good in the AHL is very promising. 18 points in his last 24 games. He is fun to watch.

100%, I like that Florian and a lot of the young Habs are stating “I don’t want to cheat the game”…..they understand the 200 foot game and play with jam! Gonna be fun to watch these kids develop, cheers.

One of the best moves that no one talks about is Hughes bringing in Pascal Vincent...very impressed with him and his assistants.

Pretty crazy he's only 2 goals back of the team lead considering he's spent a lot of time on the 4th line. He's a guy who it is hard to put a ceiling on given how much he's improved over the last 2 years, one thing is for sure though is he'll be a welcomed addition to this team wherever he plays.

He has good hands, a shot with as much velocity as Beck, though he doesn't get it off as quickly, he's tenacious, can fight and he can score goals a few feet around the net thanks to his size and his style of play. He needs to add mass however. When he does he's going to be a handful.

He is also used late in games to protect leads, plays in OT, Kills penalties. The kid can play.

Almost goes unnoticed..........love how this guy has handled his AHL stint. This is a guy who could find himself with the habs fairly soon. Associate coach to MSL?

Wouldn't it be cool to have both brothers in the lineup simultaneously. Imagine the dustups that would take place every single game.

It's one of the things I look most forward to. It's too bad we couldn't get Olivier too because intimidating the Bruins, Leafs and Sens for the next decade would have been beautiful.

With Demidov, Hage, Beck, Tuch, Hutson, Fowler, etc. coming we will be intimidating them in other ways.

He's not 34 eh? He's that type of player worth that price and age is fine for a 6 year contract. I'm eager to see Forian take that role for us with Tuch in the lineup as well. Tuch-Evans-Florian in a year or two sounds good to me for a solid 4th line.

Yeah, you're right about that. 4 year would've been better but then he would'nt have signed... considering the cap keep increasing, i guess it won't matter too much by then if they must IR him or he just gets sent down.
