Unfortunately I’m not sure if this is the group of ‘07’s to build around.seems like a lot of '07s to carry and Niagara did not need to be involved in the Bertucci trade if the thought was it is a go for it year.

So…..I really think Flache should be giving that top 6 ice-time to Zurawski or Flugins or Martin or even Reid but Kostov has been overall playing better lately. It boggles my mind that he’s putting him out with first power play unit but he has been staying out of the box and playing really well on the PK lately. It’s an improvement. Glad to see Martin producing. We had been talking about how he had been skating hard, playing the body and getting chances but nothing was coming of it. Now he’s finding the back of the net. Hopefully Kostov can follow suit a little. I still think this group is far from causing any damage in the playoffs but it’s good to see them pick up a couple W’s missing their best forward.Only took the prized trade piece from the Hayes trade last year 24/25 games to get his first goal of the season. I can't believe the Soo gave him up, all the devastated fans watching his breakaway goal tonight are going to have nightmares about missing him.
He's not the only one.How many times can Mania attempt a solo rush and miss the net on his shot in one night?
True. Even Connor McDavid does it sometimes but no other D on the Firebirds does it 4-5 times a night while completely ignoring any teammates that might be on the rush with him and it’s always gonna finish off the glass or in the goaltenders crest every time. He's not the only one.
Don't disagree. I watched the game to watch him and Bishop from Saginaw to see if they could be a potential trade candidates ?Bishop might help the Spits but not thinking Mania would. But then again nobody really ask me anyway, lol. Be safe.True. Collins or Smith but they’re OA’s. I’d take Podrekar over Mania but he’s an import and not much more than Eichler so…. Dirty12 described Mania I believe it was “has all the tools but never seems to put it together” or something like that which I think is pretty accurate. He’s decision making in all 3 zones leaves something to be desired too.Don't disagree. Latvia just beat Canada, anything can happen.Guessing they are buying.
Which in hindsight is a bit stupid because nobody's beating London.
Latvia wouldn't beat Canada 4 times in a 7 game series.Latvia just beat Canada, anything can happen.
But after winning the Presidents Trophey, Tampa Bay Lightning were swept 4-0 in first round of NHL playoffs.Latvia wouldn't beat Canada 4 times in a 7 game series.
If Thibodeau if out long term, sell.Guessing they are buying.

Even with Thibodeau this group wasn’t good enough to go for it and if McParlan doesn’t see that, he needs to be fired. I think it might be time to consider moving on from Flache too. They’re not going to catch Windsor for the Division which means at best they get London in round 2 and it’s over. You don’t buy to get to round 2. Period. If Thibodeau if out long term, sell.
You don't have enough to go get 2-3 forwards.
And you couldn't beat the B squad for London, you ain't beating the A squad in March/April.
He certainly was in Windsor, knew him when he played here, spoke to him in the elevator after the 1st.3 Too Many Men penalties in one game a couple weeks ago. In the middle of the week against the Division leader he decides to finally play Bender. That one is totally on the coach. Burying Martin and Zurawski on the 4th line. Flache needs to be better or he needs to go. While we’re at it, where has Posa been?
