sorry, honest question, is that a rule that is enforced? i have not seen that happen on the ohl side, its the wild west as long as you dont troll, i didnt know it was.

Short answer is that it's enforced if we think you're doing it to troll and/or to be a dick.

Longer answer is that if you don't do it, then you won't have to worry about our interpretation of what you're up to.

Like I said don't take the bait. You are being baited in an attempt to get you to cross a line so they can click the report link. If you feel your face getting warm and your ears turning red do not respond take a day off and foil their evil plan. I find putting people on ignore for a few days provides the perfect environment for settling things down and avoiding messages from the Mods.

interesting, i guess i can just assume that with different mods, they enforce it differently and have different feelings around certain posters in some of the threads here. honestly it feels somewhat arbitrary, but i dont care that much either.

thanks for the feedback

God, how I love Hockey in June, especially when it's in Florida.

One Cup Saturday night, one more to go.

Will be great to see the boys back on the ice Oct. 1st! They may be going head to head for viewers with Michigan Football playing at Iowa, probably on National Telivision (in the states).

Luckily, Flint also selected Defensman Reed Gee 9 spots ahead of Strohack in the 3rd round and will hopefully sign with the Firebirds.

So does this mean he’s not an option at all? Or could he still attend camp, impress, and get signed?
Yes he can still sign with the Firebirds. They are a GOJHL team. That is a Junior B league. It is generally thought to be the top Junior B league. My Guess is maybe this is what he is planning if he doesn't make the roster in Flint as a rookie. Can only register 4 16 yr olds. Lots of players don't come up in their 16 yr old year. Remember Giroux only came up for a few games then they sent him back to his A/B team. Here the rule concerning signings for junior A/B and Major Junior. "(a) A Player may Affiliate to a Major Junior Team and a Junior A or B Team in the same Season and play a maximum of five (5) games with each Team. A Player may not Affiliate to both a Junior A and a Junior B Team." I think that means he can play up to 5 games with Flint (pretty much what Giroux did) then they have to send him back to in this case his B team or they have to register him as one of the 4 16 yr olds.

Except for 8 of their 18 Saturday homes games being in October and November (going against popular Michigan and Michigan State Football), this is probably the Firebirds best schedule in their history. Also, some of those games will be 12 noon starts, giving plenty of fans time to get to The Dort, except for me, unless I am at a 12 noon Michigan game.

TC, I think I actually agree with you on something. It's great getting 18 Saturday's, easily the best night they draw. Just sucks 8 of the first 9 Saturdays they are at home vs college football. Only 2 Fridays vs High school football. Minimized the Wednesday's 5 (Night before Thanksgiving is usually a good draw tho), so really only 4 Wednesdays. 3 Sundays, 2 after most of the NFL season will be over with.

Fox loves the "Big Noon Kickoff" both MSU and UM should be competitive this year, could get locked into a lot of those early noon kicks because of Fox.

Has Jack Sznewajas, Flint Director of Broadcasting and Communications left the team? I see the Firebirds are looking to hire someone for Broadcasting, Social Media and Marketing. Other positions are also available.

Those are all listed as internships, Jack retweeted it 2 days ago. Could be looking to get him some help?

Can any Flint fans give me a report on how Kuzmin looked this year?
He was a horse on the blueline, he did a little bit of everything for Flint and played extremely well. Early in the season I felt he made some poor timed decisions pinching when he shouldn't have, but those seemed to subside as the year went on.

What's up with the CHL? No LIVE coverage of the Memorial Cup in the States? The NHL Network is showing a pre-game for game 3 of the Stanley Cup. Our suite here at Amalie is transmitting the TSN feed.
