That was a pretty big ZERO points last night. If they end up as a 6 seed and face Sarnia, it’s game over in round 1. It wasn’t a game decider but Kuzmin’s penalty in the 3rd just cannot happen. Period. The whole team was a bit undisciplined. That can’t happen either, especially with a mediocre PK. I liked Day’s game though. I’d imagine it’s Cranley vs Hamilton and Day vs London this weekend. Every point counts.

Twenty minutes in penalties for the D is way too many. Looks like it will be Day in net tonight.

Huh. Hamilton is no pushover and Panwar will be looking to have a big night as he continues to tear the league up. I’d guess (hope) that if Day has another strong performance he gets the net tomorrow too. Myself, along with others were saying to sell at the deadline and build around the ‘05 group. Losing Petrovski hurts that group and the forwards aren’t lights out offensive producers but with the way Bertucci and Day have played post deadline definetly strengthens that argument.

Good to see Dann get the monkey off his back. Hopefully he's got a few more in him.
He’s does. He’s more suited to a top 6 role but he’s got the tools to be very effective defensively too and has been improving in that role. If him, Kressler and Slavicek are on a line together you’d THINK that would be a hell of a line. Potential is for sure there. But Uhm…that goal that got called back…..a little bit on Nolan. He got lucky there.

Ok. First off, I’m zero percent Irish or Catholic but those were the slickest jersey’s the team has ever had. The CanUsa logo? Seriously? Nice. Easy to see why they went for more than any jersey’s ever I think. They’re on a roll. 9-1-0-0. Only team better over the last 10 is Sarnia. I just think it’s too little too late this year though. IF they manage to get the 5 seed, they’ll have Saginaw. With Lennox in net playing the way he has? That’s a real challenge. Then they’d have to go through two of Sarnia-Windsor-London. It’s just too much. Those would likely be two, maybe three long series before they even face the Eastern Champion. I think the potential is there to beat any team in the league except Sarnia but…..they’re not gonna go though 2-3 of the best in the league. They’ve got it rolling now though and it’s been fun. Congrats to Piercey, Deline and Cranley on picking up the W on OA night. All 3 deserved it and it’s been a real treat to watch Riley and Tyler over the years. Two really big games this week. Neither are gonna be easy but I think they can with both and slot into the 5 seed. Just want to avoid the Sting for as long as possible and hope somebody wears them down.

Sellout tomorrow night as well.

Stopped in to exchange a few left overs today, was told there was like 200 seats left.
Should be a couple really good games with all the teams capable of pulling out a W. OS should have a good sized group of fans in the house on Saturday. Some of the most hospitable fans in the league. We’ll see how they behave on the road.

Believe that puts u into the 4-5 matchup. Won't lie I'm happy to be avoiding u RD1! Especially after a comeback like tonight the vibes are gonna be HIGH.

Should be a great series vs the Spirit that I think u guys prevail in.

Post game Mackenzie- 'that's junior hockey'
Eeeeeeeee. Not sure that’s what ANYbody in Kitchener is gonna wanna hear. You guys on this side of the border or coming in tomorrow? Either way, safe travels and may your border crossing be quick.

I don’t wanna see you guys at all. Especially early. Flint is gonna soften whoever they face in Round 1. If they’re not gonna win a series I’d rather see them tenderizing someone for the Sting as opposed to the other way around.
