Another good part of this game is that minutes were spread out very nicely. GG has to continue to do this. I know circumstances don't always dictate this but keeping all the forwards under 20 min and hopefully Fox/Trouba to close to low 20's as possible will bode well for the end of season/playoff stretch.
The highest forward ice time was Panarin at 18 minutes.

I certainly bitched about Kane but maybe it was just the shit show of being paired with Panarin. I mean he was turning the puck over left and right and barely playing defense.
Tarasenko has been pretty solid overall.
One thing I didn't realize is Tarasenko is a pretty good damn passer.

SOG is a meaningless stat. The entire line has been struggling putting up points for a while now. Kappo had a decent game tonight. Drew a penalty and had some good passes. Cuylle is not an nhl player at the moment, especially on this squad.

The kids will continue to get better. I would love for them to do more on the scoreboard, but they're not playing too badly. If the top 6 play like they can play, then they just need to continue having more good shifts than bad ones.

Or maybe it was 2 games with a new team after playing 16 years with one team. No matter how good a player is they do need some time to adjust. I also think that both him and Panarin were just trying to do too much. The lines are better and more balanced now.
