This happened and he was still twice the goaltender than whatever the hell that was Edmonton put on the ice. Wild may as well been shooting a super ball all night. Skinner had no earthly idea where the puck was going at any point.
Even when Skinner catches one in his glove, he looks surprised he caught one.

After this game, I believe Skinner leads the entire league in goals allowed above expected. Pretty impressive.

But perhaps he forgot that a goaltender's role is stopping goals, not allowing them.

And he shrugged it off and won the game. Amount of disrespect 3 time Cup winner Fleury gets on this forum is ridiculous I think a lot of it is from bitter Henrik Lundqvist fans.
