Marky’s consistency is probably coming back from injury but we have to check on Bleed’s Musings during/after the game to know for sure.

Win tonight, if not just for my GDT on Saturday. It will be a good one!

When I start making GDT's I feel like I can't stop, but I haven't done as many as I probably should have this year. I only decided around noon on Monday to make that one.

When I've discussed that feeling of apathy, I think the creativity to make a GDT is one of those things.

But when I get on a roll I really start rolling!

Apparently Wolf is playing tonight. I figured they'd go to Vladar because he shut us out and won last game against the Rangers.

Wolf is very clearly the much better goaltender. A legit Calder Trophy finalist IMO.

I'm not sure about Vezina finalist, but probably deserves some votes beyond the top-3.

I’m worried about this game . Flames are desperate and playing for their playoff lives. They play a hard working style with a relentless forecheck . A style we are now forced to play almost with Jack and Hamilton out . Flames are used to playing this way , we are not . And Wolf in net has the ability to steal games himself . He has done it a few times this year . We will have to match their intensity and effort or it will be a long frustrating night . Go Devils !

I honestly think the ''Catch Fire'' 1988 Devils theme is even cringier than this, but it doesn't have a music video with members of that team lip synching the song either.

Wolf is unequivocally not gonna be a Vezina finalist....doesn't "deserve" votes either. No, not saying he sucks. Out of goalies with 30+ games played:

The disparity in numbers between Wolf and Vladar are pretty significant.

If Markstrom is not good tonight then Allen needs to play against Vancouver.

Allen is already playing Ottawa, which Keefe announced yesterday when he said Markstrom would start tonight.

Markstrom is an .805% (or so) over his last 4 games playerd/second game since returning. And I think he's averaged 4+ goals per game in that stretch.

Tonight needs to be his Schneider vs Sharks in 2018 moment if he stinks up the joint again.

Not for the rest of the season or until we clinch, but he should be getting maybe 1 out of every 3 games at most if he stinks tonight.

When I say Vezina votes, I'm talking 4th-6th place votes. Not finalist/top-3 votes. Calder votes? I think you can argue top-3 Calder votes for sure.

He's also a 23 year old rookie and his goalie partner on the same team has DREADFUL numbers in comparison.

If Markstrom is healthy he likely wants to go against his former team, hopefully that gets him to dial in. We want a working tandem this time of season, and Markstrom has earned a little leeway in getting his game back up from his previous play.

I’d say Wolf is in the top 3 Calder for sure . Vezina votes but not top 3 IMO .
