I suspect we split up Frost and Farabee,

Farabee is more of a goal scorer with a little jam to his game, he could be a real good fit with Huby. I wouldn't change the lines at all really, simply input Farabee into Pelletier's spot, and Frost into the spot Kuzmenko had been playing on, except with Sharangovich sliding over to the wing.

Hey fellas, I had a busy day at work yesterday but just couldn't stop thinking in the back of my mind about how excited this team is becoming and that all those early mornings are really worth it- win or lose, this team has been exciting most nights.

He’s played both about evenly and doesn’t care which side he’s on.

It's actually kinda funny how few forwards we have that don't play multiple positions, it really leads to so many possible line combinations.

Pretty much just Huby, Naz, Backs and Coronato are one-trick ponies, and that ignores than Huby did spend time at RW under Sutter and Coronato played some C in college.

I like the line combinations found on Puckpedia. Sharangovich is picking up the pace so he deserves to play with two of the team's top forwards and Farabee and Frost know each other so I think it's a good idea to have them as a pairing.

I see the logic. Conny did say at the presser that he wants it to be a team vibe right from the jump, not the two new guys disincluded from the rest of the team. Whether they’re familiar or comfortable with one another as people should not dictate their compatibility in terms of on-ice skill. That said, these lines could work well even when Zary gets back, just bump Pospy down to 4C, Rango to the Frosty line and Zary to 1RW. Super curious to see what Huska goes with tomorrow!

not gonna lie, seeing how happy this fanbase is with regards to their organization is incredible to me. Like you're not supposed to want to throw up at the sight of your own team? incredible stuff. Will be watching some games to see how our boys are doing.

In regards to frost being a "mediocre" piece, look at his analytics, with proper usage (and a team favorable extension) he fits the profile for a really high end 3C on a cup winning team, Farabee saw a lot of success with Claude Giroux and Kevin Hayes in his early years, both Frost and Farabee are very smart with great vision. This trade could put you guys firmly ahead of the Kings in the standings if the players return to form.

Honestly speaking, most of what I read in your teams thread regarding the trade is very reminiscent with what flames fans have also endured in recent years. There's many parallels between the two clubs in recent history, especially with bad news, ruined relationships, fan confusion and disappointment, mushy middle etc.

The more I read your thread, the more I've been wondering if someone's called the cops yet.

Really our last two rebuilds did work out but Sutter failed in filling in lineup around Kipper/Iggy/Phaneuf and Treliving failed in filling lineup around Johnny/Tkachuk/Monohan. So actually we have had premier players in last 20 years. Our drafting and development sucked in those two star eras but now that’s on track. So yeah we have had those front line players.
