I'm guessing Brassard centers the 4th, Motte moves up to the 3rd, Kelly flips over to the LW.

Alternatively, Kelly might play center as I think he's played that in Belleville, could be wrong.

Should've kept Brown and Paul
Would love for them to get Kravtsov and Puljujarvi… they would be great as our new 4th line wingers to replace motte/watson. kelly/brassard as our extras. 3rd line of Grieg-Pinto-Joseph.

Ship Hamonic to the Oil for Puljujarvi and sign him for a 1 year $1 million try out deal, make it happen before you're canned Dorion

That would be a poor trade I think. Hamonic is an NHL caliber RD. Puljujarvi is close to waiver fodder at this point.
He's a 3rd pairing defender at best and isn't helpful in his current role. Unless he takes a paycut, I'd rather get a potential body for our bottom 6 next year who is young enough to bounce back with a change in scenery

Doesn't look good with Sanderson out...plus Zaitsev in...third string goaltender..could be a rough night

Hamonic has substantially more value than Puljujarvi at this point.

Yes, because they would have helped us increase our 5v5 scoring instead of...

*checks notes*

Claude Giroux and Alex DeBrincat.

Dahlen is always in the running for best two way middle six wingers in the league. Him and Balcers are usually neck and neck.
Paul and Brown really should not be mentioned along with those freaks of nature.
To be fair, at least beating the dead horses of Paul and Brown is a bit more reasonable that the ones of two players who still can't crack the NHL.

Maybe we can finally put the Dahlen and Balcers sagas to rest.

Yes and they should be compared to bottom 6 players not top 6 players.

Uh, yeah they would have helped our 5v5 scoring. Big time actually. That's pretty much their specialty and it's generally easier to do so versus 2nd and 3rd pairing dmen. We also don't have any sort of scoring depth past the top-6, so forwards of their caliber on the 3rd line would be a massive boost.
