Whats the reasoning here? Seems like a reasonable rate. I mean, we were paying Mangiapane more, for less. Not a fan of this contract, but we have a bunch of cap space and someone needs to score goals
What exactly you don't like about it? It's perfectly deserving from my point of view. Not a fan of this contract, but we have a bunch of cap space and someone needs to score goals
Like Tre did with Chucky and Johnny right?Should have waited a six months to a year.
That 17.3 shooting percentage is a concern.

No, I am comparing a missed opportunity when both Johnny and Chucky were willing to sign a year before their contracts expired. You're really gonna compare two proven superstars to a semi-proven secondary player like Gogo? Losing Gogo is not even remotely in the same realm of reality.
I liked Mangiapane. Astute defensively, reliable even strength producer and one of many failed by our abject PP. He also played through a horrible shoulder injury in 22/23 that he had to rehab the summer before last season. He’ll rebound next year.Whats the reasoning here? Seems like a reasonable rate. Just because Mangiapane’s contract was bad, doesn’t necessarily mean Sharangovich’s is good. But interested to hear a different opinion - consensus seems overwhelmingly positive so far.

Cheaper than Mangi, twice the player! Loving it!
True enough. Middle 6 players are getting about 5-6 mil pretty regularly these days it seems. And realistically, Rango is a 2nd line forward on a competing team, so it's fair value currently, but if he takes another step forward? This becomes a massive stealI doubt this will be the money we're complaining about when all is said and done.
