SCREW YOU FLAMES!

Flames win 5-2 over San Jose, which is not a shock really.

It's coming down to the last game of the season for both St. Louis & Minnesota.

All 3 teams play at home on Tuesday. For Minnesota & St. Louis, it's game 82 - last chance.

Anaheim @ Minnesota - Wild need one point to clinch.

Utah @ St. Louis - Blues can only clinch with a regulation win.

Vegas @ Calgary - As long as the above 2 scenarios don't happen, Calgary stays alive with a win. A loss & they're out. An OT/SO loss, clinches it for Minnesota. Things are more complicated with St. Louis.

Crazy that St Louis won 12-13 games in a row (can't remember how many it was exactly) including a win against the Habs where they dominated us in every facet like we haven't been dominated in all of 2025 and now they suddenly can't buy a win.

Flames making it or not making it is really the difference of a spot or two.. at that range in the draft, it's pretty inconsequential. This is not a team that's going to the conference finals, regardless.

things are getting so crazy now that if the Flames make it as things stand the pick go from 16th to 19th, as they would leap from us, New Jersey, and either Minny or St. Louos. If they finish ahead of both Minny and St. Louis, the pick goes to 20th overall.

But yes, at least they won't pull a Florida, which were at 16th and went all the way to the cup finals because Pittsburgh couldn't win winnable games down the stretch. That left is with the 31st pick, which we packaged with an early 2nd and used on bottom sixer Newhook. Would have been nice to have seen what Hugo would have done with those picks...

Florida f***ed us on so many level cause there's no way KH would have traded a 16th overall for Newhook. I don't mind Newhook i mean he works hard but i'd rather have that 16th overall and it's not close. Sandin-Pellika was stil available.

Them not making it means they can't go on a cinderall run in playoffs. That's the difference between 16th and 29th if Wolf turns into Roy in playoffs.

Knights will be resting players as they clinched the Pacific and good chance the Kings will be resting players too.
Kings will likely rest their players before their last game at home. They play a back to back on the road monday and tuesday this is where they'll rest players. Doubt they do it in their last game in front of their fans.

We really have 0 luck with our second first round pick. I can't believe we stressed about Calgary drafting in the bottom 5-10. Now they have a real chance of making it. With out the 12 winning games streak from Blues, they would have been in the playoff right now.

Is this it? If they lose tonight they miss the playoffs?

Minnesota clinched when they tied Anaheim. Ek scored with 20 seconds left in game and Wild's net empty. They only needed one point.

Boldy just scored to win it in OT.

St. Louis will clinch in about 90 seconds. They're leading Utah 6-1. They needed a regulation win & they got it.

Calgary is out.
