Big Nose Biz and Dano should do a bet this year like the one that he lost last year and had to have that baldy haircut.

If the Devils make the playoffs, Biz has to shave his head completely bald (like Dano), AND have some teeth removed like 2003 Ken Daneyko and he has to have that for the entire playoffs, no matter what happens to us.

If the Devils miss the playoffs, Dano has to wear a Chico rug for the entire season in 2023-2024.

I totally think Dano would go for it.

Biz bet a guy who does a lot of their video work that if the Devils make the conference finals in the next two (possibly three i dont remember for sure) years he'd get a tattoo of their logo on his ass.

I don't think they were disinterested, but it did look like that at times the last several seasons and tonight reminded me of that. Circumstances probably played a bigger role tonight than anything, I agree.

They didn’t look like last season’s team to me tonight, they were much better defensively.

Nico was phenomenal defensively at times, he was clearly the best player on the ice. I look forward to our Captain’s future Selke nominations.

I don’t think Mercer/Hughes/Shara line works, it’s too loosey goosey defensively.

I would probably put Mercer back with Haula. He’s too much of an adventure on the other line.

Guys like Adam Larsson, Blake Coleman, I know there's certainly been a few even weirder ones than that. Did we seriously do one for Stephen Gionta? Please tell me no. And frickin Keith Kinkaid LOL.

I know Henrique got one, Cory got one, Andy Greene got one, but those three I think are fine. Henrique scored the most famous goal here that was scored after 2003 and it knocked the Rangers out in the ECF, Cory was easily the second best goaltender we've had in the last 30+ years and probably even second best in the history of the organization and Greene was here for 14 years, was a captain and probably the best defenseman we had here after the cup years.

I don't care how good Blake Coleman and Adam Larsson were. I mean frickin Coleman was here for barely a few minutes, if you don't count his time in the minors. Larsson was here not too many more minutes than that.

I'm not trying to shit on all these players and the acknowledgement stuff we've given them, as much as it's bullshit and not right if there wasn't something done for McNab. The guy actually lost his life,

Just a moment of silence....and like thirty seconds or so of talking about him before the moment of silence. I didn't actually know he PLAYED for the Devils before tonight, just remembered him as the broadcaster for the first Cup team.

Sorry, misunderstood. It’s a good thing to win when you’re not at your best. However, I’ve watched hockey long enough to know if you continue to win in this manner things will turn. Just want to see a little more solid efforts. Better habits.
