Missed the first 2 periods. Only thing I noticed is Pouliot played well for once, a few good passes and a good hit. Team just squeaked past a bad team, get ready for the Pens boys.

Kreider really has a knack for clutch goals eh?

Also, Zuke's shootout "move" was epic. So much swagger.

The Good: Hags, Stepan, Kreider, Pouliot (!!!!), McDongod

The Bad: Nash, Stralman

The Pyatt: Hank in the SO, refs.

Pouliot had a really good game, he deserved that shootout goal. Stralman was uncharacteristically bad this game. Nash is really pissing me off lately.

How was Lundqvist bad? Are we talking about the shootout? - while he wasn't great. It's hard to call a goalie bad by letting up shootout goals. Because none of the goals that went in were his fault. In fact, he's the only reason the Rangers were still in the game when they gave up an early breakaway and a late 2-1. But, it's cool to **** on him for every goal that goes in.
To be fair Hank has been very shak thsi season. Hank used to be a beast which is why people are critical of his play so far. It isnt hate its just being honest. Especially with the big chunk of change we gave him we need him to play like the real Lundqvist

I get that he hasn't been as great as usual, but he was good in regulation tonight, and not the reason we had to win in a shootout.

Pouliot's been better offensively all season than his counting stats have said and it's nice to see things come together for him more in the last two games, even if we all kind of know it's fleeting.

Considering how bad we've been all over the ice in this slump, this was a good win even if it was against the Flames in a shootout. The big guns need to get going, though.

I like Stepan's personality. Why does this team have to be so likable? Makes trading them difficult.

Hehehe, what?

He was ok tonight definetly better than he has been but we still need more

Very good? No. He was passable. 3 goals on 21 shots is never "very good."

You can't judge a game by goals on shots. You can get a shutout with 30 shots and not really be tested much. NYR makes goalies do that all the time. He didn't have much of a chance on any of the goals.

I'll say the only thing about this game is that the Rangers have a functional line and that is the Krieder-Step-Nash line. That is about it folks.

I can judge any way I want. He was passable today. He wasn't making fantastic saves. He was just there. Notice I didn't say he was bad during regulation. But he certainly wasn't "very good."

Actually, you said 3 goals on 21 shots is never really good. Sometimes the amount of goals and shots don't tell the entire story.
