League would be fun if most of the Canadian players did stay in Canada.
You think Matthews is the same as the Tkachuks? One seems like a legit good person from a good family while the other two are... (will omit description here to avoid being banned)The next time I hear an American born player say they are fully committed to their Canadian nhl team, I won’t believe it. That reminds me, didn’t Auston Matthews say that recently?
Connor will be the first major stress test.League would be fun if most of the Canadian players did stay in Canada.
This is so corny lmao. You don’t know any of these people in real life. You think Matthews is the same as the Tkachuks? One seems like a legit good person from a good family while the other two are... (will omit description here to avoid being banned)
Matthews is cut from a different cloth. No indication that he wants out. If things do change (not expecting they will), the Leafs would be smart not to repeat the Marner fiasco
Florida will be a handful. Barkov came back strong to win WC gold. Lundell is a very good 2C. Both will have a Tkachuk on their line. Not bad.Probably has a really good chance at being a decent result for Ottawa and I am not a Brady fan at all, think he is overrrated in pretty much every aspect. I don’t think it was smart for Zito to blow his draft haul on a middling winger with so many other holes to fill and an older overall roster if that’s what he did here.

Yes, they will decline, but they won't drop to a team that doesn't make the playoffs or even gets close any spot with a likely good pick.
Plus 2029 is top 10 protected
It's really getting pathetic how many players are requesting trades and then listing some combination of Florida, Vegas, Carolina and Tampa as the locations they'd accept trades to. Maybe it's always been like this and I just forgot but I can't recall stars throwing their hands up and then specifically requesting to be moved to Colorado, Detroit or New Jersey in the late 90s.
I don't, you're right. But the image they portray is telling enough. Doesn't take a genius.. .This is so corny lmao. You don’t know any of these people in real life.
AM34 is arguably worse because he takes short term deals to make sure he gets his bread. I'm all about players having power, but his loyalty has never been to any team, only the bag. He'll go wherever he can get the maximum amount of cash. The Tkachuks at least signed for 7 years and gave their teams some semblance of stability and room to add players toYou think Matthews is the same as the Tkachuks? We certainly wouldn't have gone 34 years without a Cup.League would be fun if most of the Canadian players did stay in Canada.

You gotta give the Sens credit their team is an excellent farm system to the rest of the NHL.
Thank you to all their fans
Nothing wrong with a player getting paid. Doesn't mean he doesn't want to stay/be loyalAM34 is arguably worse because he takes short term deals to make sure he gets his bread. Nah, he good for a while
None of us know these NHL players in real life, you're right, but it's fairly obvious what type of character the Tkachuks are, Dad included. Good riddance. This is so corny lmao. You don’t know any of these people in real life.
I'm pretty sure they tried.Sens should had required at least one active Panthers’ player + the picks, even Luostarinen or Mikola.
Seriously. I've never seen a family make it so obvious the type of people they areNone of us know these NHL players in real life, you're right, but it's fairly obvious what type of character the Tkachuks are, Dad included. Good riddance.
Matthews was on a team that never missed the playoffs until this year, and one year out and there are already rumours about his future.I don't, you're right. But the image they portray is telling enough. Doesn't take a genius.. .
Are you talking about Olympic Gold Medalists Matthew and Brady Tkachuk?None of us know these NHL players in real life, you're right, but it's fairly obvious what type of character the Tkachuks are, Dad included. Good riddance.
I don't understand why Florida had so much leverage here. I'm obviously missing somethingI'm pretty sure they tried.
And? Some card store at the mall was doing it. All the Florida players have done it at least once.
