I don't see how anyone thinks this is a bad deal. It's a young offensive winger locked up through a lot of prime years at a good price.

I'm one of those who normally don't like long term contract but Huberdeau is only 23 , is coming from 55 and 60pts seasons amd will very likely only get better. I expect a couple of 70pts season from him once he reach his prime. Plus he is gonna play wtih a talented and already locked core for a long time.

6x6 is an absolutely fine contract for him

Hall is #3 ranked LW behind Ovechkin and Benn, and just ahead of Gaudreau at #4.
Huberdeau is #18.
