Chicago took 3 1st round defencemen in 2017 and 2018 and they are all trash.

Reminds me of the old Andy Delmore joke... Any Elmore, because there is no DAh, I know what you mean. A Fenceman. My neighbor's is starting to lean, could probably stand to be redone.
We have a 5'9 stay at home defenseman who doesn't hit, doesn't provide offense and gets caved in. His name is Jacob Bryson and has kept his job for 4 years.Fair enough, but that was a game where both our 2D and 3D were out. And this was the ice time split among defensemen.

Our PP went 0/3 btw. If you claim him, don't be optimistic. He is bad.
The Panthers have actually been pretty mediocre defensively.. 15th in GA and 16th in PK% atm, but at one point I believe we were around the 20 area for both categories at some point. He's got some scary bad defensive metrics on one of the better 2-way teams in the league. Might want to think that any change is good but that guy is not it.
Jesper has been a real surprise this season.Damn who would have thought his brother Jesper would have the more steady career?
He hasn't played all that much, so nobody. Imo, wasn't bad, but didn't earn a regular spot.Who is Florida going to bring in to replace him on the roster? Anybody in Charlotte looking good?
Teams don’t carry just 6 D for longHe hasn't played all that much, so nobody. Imo, wasn't bad, but didn't earn a regular spot.
He's not though. Dahlin is way better defensively than Quinn Hughes.Out of Dahlin, Hughes, Boqvist, Bouchard, and Dobson, would you have believed me if I told you Hughes will be the most solid in the defensive end of the ice in 2025?
Spoiler alert...hes not way better defensivelyHe's not though. Dahlin is way better defensively than Quinn Hughes.
He was outplayed by Bjornfoot, however you spell it. Like I said, he wasn't bad, just not an inspires confidence d-man.Teams don’t carry just 6 D for long
He hits more, that's about it.Sp
Spoiler alert...hes not way better defensively
Yes he is. Dahlin is good to great defensively. Hughes is all right but not good. He is a bit similar to Erik Karlsson in this regard. He is too small and frail to be effective.Sp
Spoiler alert...hes not way better defensively
Is it Boqvist?Wondered how there were three pages of discussion. Makes sense, this is a “who is the best defenseman” topic disguised as a “Boqvist waived” topic
Why? The Canucks are already overloaded with D-men in Abbotsford and healthy scratching good young prospects because of it. They need to keep development spots open for those players, not crowd them out for a 25 y/o guy with no NHL future.I don't see the Canucks picking him up seeing how Brannstrom went but I would say it's worth a shot if it doesn't work they can just waive him to Abby and strengthen their already solid AHL D core.
So Bjornfot is the answer to my question, then. Thanks! He was outplayed by Bjornfoot, however you spell it. Like I said, he wasn't bad, just not an inspires confidence d-man.
