The difference between my feelings towards Igor and Georgiev. I'm so happy for Igor, I was more annoyed than anything when Georgiev had that 2-0 win against the Canes two seasons ago.

Yeah….. I get the sense that Hanifin is just the trade deadline flavor of the month. He’s not a bad player. But our prospect and asset cabinet is a little lean and I wouldn’t be emptying it out for Hanifin. He’s not like a stud first pair defender. We just think he’s an upgrade because we play Jacob Trouba as our first pair defender.
Nothing else matters tonight other than what Igor did against markstrom. That is our guy. That changes everything if that guy is back
If Igor plays at even 80 percent of what he played at tonight no one in the East scares me in a 7 game series.

Agreed. Not in a hurry to empty our asset cupboard for that guy. He’s ok, but getting overrated simply cause he’s the best of what is readily available at the trade deadline. And he was a former high pick.

Gus-Schneider was excellent I thought tonight. Cuylle-Brodzinski-Kakko continues to be something. Wheeler once again the best player on the Meeka-Kreider line, no bueno. Markstrom to the Devils would be concerning
