Great period, just a little too early for my tastes. Still a lot of hockey left and the Leafs were definitely dangerous after their goal.

I guess it depends on which teams show up after intermission.

For all the near misses and "if he were (insert any ******* here) that would be a goal", Dwyer scores some important damn goals.

Also, I wish like hell this game were on NHL 24/7 because Carlyle is either throwing everything he can get his hands on, or just letting them stew. I don't remember I the last time I saw a team that wasn't the Hurricanes suck this badly. I fully expect them to look a hell of a lot better next period.
