This game in Ottawa is going to be fun tonight. I hope Brady comes out hitting everything in sight to start things.

And now that I’ve said this I’m sure it’ll be 4-0 after the first period and Toronto ends up winning 6-1 in a snoozer.

I’m not sure if they’ve announced plans on a future stadium, but it would be a shame if they moved from downtown SLC to the burbs. Their minor league baseball team which draws pretty well is in the process of doing that, about 30 minutes outside the city.

It’s nice to catch an event and just walk to a bar or back to your hotel pretty easily.

There wont be a new arena. Instead they went with this plan

SEG (Smith Entertainment Group) is contributing $3B to project that includes demo/renovation/modernizing of Delta Center as well as building an entertainment district in area

The City has committed $900M ($525M towards arena costs and $375M towards entertainment district, etc)

It's the arena work, building entertainment district and other projects all rolled into one nearly $4B project

Surprised they went that route given it was originally built 30+ years ago now.
