In fact, Panthers are a better team in 2025, mainly due to the additions of Marchand and Seth.

Ive been 'rewatching' the 2013 playoff run. That's code for 'I've had my PVR recordings of the 2013 playoff run playing in the background during down periods of my work day'.

Is it a surprise to anybody else that Patrick Kane had 1 PP point that entire playoff run. It was an assist.

I know the PP blew chunks that season, with only 8 PP goals in 23 games (another feather in the cap of my long-standing argument that PK is way more important PP), but lord almighty.

Just a random stat that shocked me.

FYI, the guy with the most PP points was Hossa, with 6 points (3 goals, 3 assists).

There is nothing flawed about a playoff format where the playoffs open with intense regional and divisional rivalries. With any other format you can only hope these rivalry series happen.

There's gotta be a better way, IMO. It happens all the time now where some of the best teams in the playoffs are out of it in the first round, and the next couple rounds are absolute dogshit because of it.
