It essentially means that there's no turning back. You're either going to go forward, or you'll die. So instead of staying back, you're going to burn the boats and go forward.

It's pretty cool in my opinion.

I like it. Also liked the game tn. 15 dollar beers made me leave with a few mins left in the first and second but the third I held er in and then pissed like a race horse after. Really good game. Can't wait to see a P-Game there or in Boston or MTL

Just to inform everyone, we currently have two players in the top-20 scoring race for defensemen:

Phaneuf is tied for fifth with 24 points (K. Timonen, A. Markov).
Franson is tied for twelfth with 22 points (S. Gonchar, D. Keith).

Color me impressed.

I'm not so confident...I wish we were facing Ottawa in the 1st round (not at all related to their roster, but because of how much fun it was watching the Battle of Ontario)

It was fun because we never lost.

If not for the terrible SE division winner getting put up in 3rd place this match up is exactly what would happen.

Although I would like to see Leafs vs Bruins in the first round of playoff but I highly doubt that Leafs can beat Bruins yet especially Kessel is still invisible most of the night against Bruins because of Chara. If Leafs plays against Senators would be more fun because of the battle of Ontario.

Just finished watching the game.....wow it was an exciting game.

Most impressed tonight with Kessel, and Franson....both had their best games this season....Kessel had a great game....two in a row that I have given him kudos....I hope this streak continues.

The whole first line played good tonight. Things sure are looking good with Lupul back soon!

Franson is playing tougher and tougher and is quickly becoming our option as a 1st pairing D partner for Dion....I can see this happening for sure next year and in the playoffs this year. Kadri again impressed me with several big hits and defensive zone plays.

Reimer was just ok, far to many rebounds. Grabo with the turnover for a goal and he was parked for the rest of the game...

Jay McC what a beauty....we got a gift when we traded for him.

Scary thought.....Franson and Kadri would not have been leafs this year if Ronny was still the coach....or at best bit players.

Go Leafs Go

Bozak is a great great player to have. He is PERFECT for the 3rd line center role... now we just need to trade Grabovski in the offseason and find a better #1C (nothing against Bozak, but he's just a perfect #3C).

Kulemin, Komarov, Bozak, McClement in our bottom 6 is just beautiful. Add McLaren and Orr who have been pleasant surprises.

JVR, Kessel and Kadri all played amazing once again. Now imagine adding Lupul to that list...

Can't wait until Rielly, Gardiner and Biggs have key roles on the team!

I love reading other forums especially post game and it feels good when people finally rage about how good rhe leafs are. The team is catching everyone by surprise. We waited so long for a team to be proud of, sure they have crappy games but the team is steadily improving.

Man, watching replays of the goals on NHL.com, Bowen gets almost every goalscorer incorrect when he's calling the game.

This season I have gradually developed a pretty substantial distaste for both Joe Bowen and Greg Millen. Both seem like real nice guys but they are so side-tracked half the time it's really quite distracting. Telling stories about non-consequential and irrelevant things, laughing extremely loud for extended periods, forgetting to do play-by-play, Millen just pulling analysis out of his ass, not knowing who scored or if a goal was even scored (EVER), not knowing what the penalty was.. And the list goes on.

Time for some new blood with Sportsnet and LeafsTV.. Maybe some younger guys who can provide some relevant analysis and actually focus on the game happening in front of them.

Another quick note: Kessel and Kadri have become complete players this year. Every single play I notice Kessel and Kadri getting back on D before most other players, mainly due to their speed and now due to their defensive awareness (thanks to Carlyle). What a difference a coach can make, eh!?

They're getting the perspective of a Norris trophy winning d man and Cup winning coach to boot.

Haven't seen the last couple of games. Colborne is playing miniscule minutes. How has he looked?
