That line doesn't work though. Bertuzzi is a third wheel net front guy and Teuvo is a perimeter skill guy. Line isn't fast enough off the rush to be dangerous and it doesn't have a puck retrieval guy.

Also doesn't really have a center.
It's a lineup of bad options. May as well load up on what little skill we have. What would your ideal Bedard line be?

Does anyone remember when Bedard entered the league and he was shooting the puck like 10+ times a game? Now he doesn’t shoot the puck at all.

The coaches have coached him to do this. They want him to suck. This is the grossest mismanagement of a player I’ve ever seen in my life. Fire Luke.

He means the two of them. We have barely seen Bertuzzi with Bedard at all.

Ah that makes more sense. As bad as Bertuzzi’s skating is, and with Bedard’s only being so-so…. I’m not sure I have an issue with the two being kept apart.

I can't take it anymore. This team is driving me crazy. I'm inclined to go buy a Harley and drive deep into the Arizona desert and not come out until Richardson is fired. I've tried to hold off on calling for his firing but I can't defend him anymore.

Bedard is struggling so he gets to play with offensive BLACK HOLE Joey Anderson? Luke, just dress yourself and skate on Bedards line. You would have just as much of an offensive impact as Anderson.

Richardson is trying to turn Bedard into a Selke winner. This reminds me of what Torteralla did with the Sedins. You need to let Bedard play to his strengths. He's an offensive wizard who should be allowed to cheat a little to score goals. Instead his green light has been taken away. But hey...at least he's responsible defensively, right? Just like Joey Anderson.

Richardson can't begin next season as the teams coach. I've seen enough.

While I think a lot of the criticisms have been over the top, and I do think that he has tightened up things defensively which is not nothing. I am coming around on the idea that he might not last The year for the simple fact that you can’t allow this Bedard thing to fester for much longer. I think the preference would be to keep him through the season and make the change then, it might have to happen before then if the offence doesn’t come around.

The team is playing like shit and is god awful to watch.

Watching a Hawks game is like watching paint dry. It’s like watching a country like Slovenia playing against a powerhouse country. They barely have the puck and when they do they just chip it out and fight to survive.

If they want to secure the best pick possible, keep Luke because dude if Colliton level bad behind the bench.

“According to reports, the first three years were guaranteed, and the Blackhawks have the option for a fourth season.”
“”To me right now, it’s more of a ‘when’ and not an ‘if’ on Richardson”, a coaching source said.”

Pens are going to end up firing Mike Sullivan, he worked for Hawks before becoming their HC, if they were going to go the experienced route with cups that seems like a reasonable possibility, especially considering the roster will not be good again next year so anyone better could be hard to attract

I'm good with Sullivan.

Chicago needs a proven veteran behind the bench.

Pens fans constant complaint is Sullivan is always trying to coach as if the team can be fast and doesn't have a roster like that.

Not what we have yet... but that seems hand in hand with Davidsons vision and prospects we have been acquiring.

It seems a solid fit.

that's what the 2016/17 pens were iirc, up tempo skating team that hit you in waves, but yeah that definitely sounds like a fit for KD vision...front office connection with Norm and KD plus coached Sid (Bedard), it could make a lot of sense thats their ideal target
