You combine these recent line combos with the comments from Hall about being surprised by his healthy scratch and I'd say LRs seat is starting to heat up for sure. Especially if the team, and in particular Bedard, continue to struggle.

Why anyone thought that plug 2nd/3rd pairing physical Dman would bring a high flying dynamic offensive scheme to a tea is beyond amazing. The guy was a goals against machine his entire career. Was never able to get his brain to catch up to his physical strengths.

What I expected was a team that would be prepared (nope, how many dismal 1st periods have there been?) physical (Nope, flybys ALL over the ice) out hustling teams (nope, even the 10 minutes of highlights that I watch are littered with loafers)

There is little hustle, little speed and absolutely no culture or team identity to this organIzation.
A shit show from top down, yet here I go to the game Thursday to have dinner and good company while the team skates as an occasional background distraction. Not fun to be Hawks fan anymore.

lol, no one is expecting that, the best coach in the world couldn't bring that to this dog water team.

A decent coach could at least have them ready to play and playing with intensity. How many times do we have to watch them not even bother showing up until the third period? That's a coaching and culture issue.

There's a reason why I didn't bold the rest of it.

This season is really a blessing in disguise. Bedard will be Bedard however this season plays out. He is a future 100 point guy the only part that hasn't been decided is if he is a C or a W.

We know now about Vlasic. He's a guy. We know on Kurashev, he isn't. Reichel, he is still up for debate. We know we'll get a good pick and that will likely be a guy.

The rest of the team are placeholders. And decent placeholders at that. They are good enough that if you were a top coach, you could hover around .500 for most of the year. This season was all about Luke. And we have our answer. I would like to know who runs the PK and the PP. Those are actually decent units. The 5v5 play is crazy bad.
