Was pleasantly surprised with DJ's ice time deployment. Sanderson and Brannstrom had more ice time. Just cut a bit more, give the young lads a time to shine and off some pressure off Chabot while he gets his shit together.
Could be because of score effects. Down by 4 and you start trying something different

We had one of the easiest schedules in the league too

Did we?

Boston 10-1-0
Vegas 10-2-0
Buffalo 7-3-0
Dallas 6-3-1
Tampa 6-4-1
Toronto 5-4-2
Washington 5-5-2
Minnesota 5-4-1
Florida 5-4-1
Arizona 3-5-1

Remove the games vs Ottawa that totals. 56-31-9. Even looking at last years results 7 of the teams made playoffs, 4 of them had 110 points or more.

Debrincat only played 12 seconds in the last 2 minutes, and the 4th line got multiple shifts in the last 7 minutes when we were down a goal. Brutal

Flyers are an overachieving team riddled with injuries. No excuse for not winning that one on Saturday. A loss should should result in a pink slip.
We should win but I’m very worried about Carter Harr. He’s been standing on his head this year.

Which players are you looking at because Watson and Gambrel finished their last shift with 6:40 left. It was their only shift in the final 10.

Sure but at some point you have to overcome that, this team has already left too many points on the table this year. A coach lasting four bottom-10 finishing seasons is insane in this day in age.

I don't know what you'd be hoping to accomplish with a coaching change. The team is already top-10 in shot share, expected goal share, scoring chance share, and high danger chance share.

Trotz baby…

Have him coach until new ownership is in and PD is fired then he can ascend the throne

DeBrincat had some terrible giveaways and was coasting around a lot tonight. He needs to put in more effort. Saying that, I am not a fan of DJ on many occasions lately. He has made some very poor coaching decisions that have cost us games. Not pulling Forsberg earlier, was one of them tonight.

No easy wins in this league. Torts has them playing on steroids and their feeding off it. Check their record!

They will come back to earth at some point but right now they are playing above what they should be.

It’s also always a given now that we’re never going to tie a game with the net empty. How many times has that actually happened under DJ’s tenure? The team is not good with the extra man.

If giving up late goals is going to be a trend, at least make it seem like you have a chance at tying the game late.

Babcock. Do it, Dj has cost this roster too many games, we need an old school coach that has won

4 game losing streak in your first 10 games of “we gotta get off to a good start” season and started the season with a lose to Buffalo which is a game they should of won if they were a serious team and a two game losing streak.

Team looked horrible at times last night. Like comically bad. Embarrassing that they have been together as a coaching staff and player group for so long. It’s like no one in the organization knows how to win and it starts with the coach

Did I see that correctly last night? DJ put out Brassard instead of Cat when we desperately needed a goal?

Brassard was f***ing out there. What the f***. From healthy scratch to closing out games when you need a goal.

That makes no sense.
Hate to break it to you but that decision has little to no bearing on the outcome of last night’s game.
