Finnish players, Hall of Fame or not?

I voted Barkov, Rantanen and Heiskanen. Feel really good about the first 2, Heiskanen is more based on how I expect him to be the type to age really well and have a nice long career.

I don't think any of them are necessarily slam dunks for what it's worth, though I do see both Barkov and Rantanen making it without too much difficulty.

I think Barkov is a lock, Rantanen is almost a lock. Heiskanen is the next most likely.
Aho ends up like Elias, perpetually waiting for his turn that may never come. Saros would almost need a miracle to even have a hope.

I'm not sure why Aho is viewed as better than Saros.. he has one of the hardest workloads among active goalies while he hasn't been as good lately, he has a track record finishing 3rd, 4th and 5th in vezina voting.

Goalies seem to be aging pretty well lately so despite being 29 he could easily have more elite seasons ahead, especially if Nashville gets their shit together.

Whereas Aho's ceiling isn't as high in comparison.. I'm not sure a conn scythe would do it either, he's simply not prolific enough a scorer, and hasn't been good enough to finish as a Selke finalist. Hard to see that changing unless he takes his game to another level.

Nashville is a poorly constructed team right now and probably a non playoff one for several more seasons.

I agree that Soros is a great goalie but playing on a weak team doesn't help his chances even if its not fair as it applies more to goalies than position players.

Came here to say that Rants postseason is his icing on the cake, can't see him not making the HHOF.

RBA should 100% be in by now but it's pretty clear the HOF voters have a vendetta against him that won't affect Barkov at all. Barkov could retire after these playoffs and get in IMO.
