Olympics: Finland G Noora Raty announces retirement due to lack of women's pro league

Noora Räty signed with Tier 2 Mestis league team Kiekko-Vantaa and has so far played two games this season. Fist one ended witha 1-3 home loss against SapKo (she had 31 saves). Today she got her first win as Kiekko-Vantaa beat the heavy favorite TuTo 4-2, making 43 saves.

Glad to hear she was able to get a spot on a team. She's fun to watch and I hope she can play for a long time. Help get more girls in Finland into hockey.
