Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. That was definitely a FInn period.
Was that Iiro the Hero crushing Kovar?lol I remember him from NHL somewhere.
Kovar has created out best chances and seems engaged.
Agree with above.. Pesan is not adjusting at all.

Fun fact.. 3 of our D (half of them) play in Finland...
Sulak, Klok and Skelnicka.
I know Klok is headed to KHL.. not sure about other 2.

As a few Czechs have posted.. we've been here many times. Going down a goal into third is sort of our thing.lol
I'm happy it's only 1-0 as Finns have been better.
I'm assuming that Pesan will mix up the lines ...
If it were me I'd move up Chyti to top 6. I'd create a third line of the 3 guys you trust not to f*** up. Tell them to not f*** up and tell the other 2 lines to score (try anyways).
As far as D.. Hronek should play at least 12 mintues this period.

Oh please, how about the elbow into the face by your #21 in the first period? Some penalties get called, some get overlooked. I don't see any one-sided reffing at all.

the last of the concerns about this nice matchup is the refs. they've been totally acceptable.
Czechs needed to capitalize those first 10min chances, like 3-4 high quality chances. Now they're pretty much playing Finlands game and that wont end well for them.
I think the 3rd period might be better from Czechs but Finland will get breakaways. I'm feeling that Czech will get 1 more PP this game as well.
The question is, which team capitalizes on those chances.

They can't meet in the semis. USA is no1 seed and Finland is no3. If Russia beats Canada Finland will meet them but if Canada wins Finland will meet Germany.

Took us 45 minutes to score on Denmark
Were down 2-0 against Swedes
I know Finns are awesome but I think we can tie this up. Shorten that bench.
I definitely don't trust Hrubec on a Finn breakaway though. your goalie has made some great saves.
Probably but looks like Finns are neutralizing majority of the czechs attacks. And to my big suprise are very much limiting the zonetime and cycle play.
I mean you guys have the higher caliber top end skill here. Wouldn't be surprised.
