Final Western Conference Spot

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

Still think the Flames will be an easy out if they make the playoffs but Wolf has the potential to steal a round. At least the lock downgrade won’t be huge with Montreal

We'd need a prime Hasek performance to beat the Jets if we made it, but it's still kind of exciting to be in the race considering we were pegged to be a bottom 5 team.. next season might be the rug pull year where we end up in 1OA territory.

someones going to go on a losing streak here, they can't all stay hot the rest of the way. I think likely more Calgary will, but could easily be the blues. Could also be the oilers for that matter.

Yea, if im the Blues I'd much rather get 8th instead of 7th. Winnipeg is a much more winnable matchup than Vegas is
Possibly. Either match up would be an unlikely victory for the Blues, but I think the deciding factor is you would rather be in the Pacific bracket than the Central one.

Their destiny is a first round ass whoopin
Even if it is, that's still better than what most of us were expecting before the season started (and I include myself amongst those who thought we wouldn't get close to the playoffs), and it's better than where we were headed before we hired Montgomery (a top ten draft pick). We're playing with house money at this point, and I'm proud of the season we've had.

Today I watched two rich guys in a bidding duel for a $60k 1984 Mercedes replica. At $127k I wanted to tell them to stop it but it wasn't any of my business so it went on until $157k. The seller had a heart-attack and sought medical attention. Probably cost him $90k.

So now that Minny has dropped down into the fray, does Van City or Cowboy Town catch Minny. Will the Lou get W1? Also, will the Big D catch Winnie for 1st in the Central. Not many games left but still a lot at stake in the West.

Probably

Blues being the Blues.......... They've been doin it for decades..............Said it the other day but i'll repeat it here...........No franchise personifies middling more than the Blues.......Been watching since 86 and they only made it passed the second round 4 times but have only missed the playoffs 8 times..

Not meant to be a compliment or an insult.......Just an observation.......
They won a Cup just a few years ago. What are you talking about? Do you know how many teams have never won a Cup, or won before most on this board were born?

Minnesota will either get the #1 ranked PP in the league or the #2 ranked PP in the league in round 1. Either way, their awful penalty kill is gonna get lit the f*** up.

The knights are a tougher first round matchup than the jets but kings/oilers is easier than stars/avs for round 2. Not sure any of the wild card teams will make it out of the first round though. I think the blues will atleast keep it respectable though.
