Oh, and all you Rags fans in the building; you can all f*** the hell off…….
As someone who blames the goalie quite a bit, maybe don’t turn the puck over directly in the center of the ice. It’s not an “easy save”.He had a clear view of the shot and he went down on the ice when staying on his skates would have allowed an easy save
Yep. Can’t wait until he does it again sometime in late MarchAs he rings one off the post
It's not an easy save but this team right now needs it's goalie to bail them out. When that happens they win games, Elvis wasn't good enough to steal a point (atleast)As someone who blames the goalie quite a bit, maybe don’t turn the puck over directly in the center of the ice. It's only because he's unimpressive.Ive been unimpressed with ZAR for months now.
I’m not going to say he was great but I feel like he was good enough to win. He stopped two breakaways in the first. It's not an easy save but this team right now needs it's goalie to bail them out. When that happens they win games, Elvis wasn't good enough to steal a point (atleast)
All things we know, well at least some of us do. I'm not really sure why we resigned him other than it's not going to hurt the team. Kinda wild to see him out there in the final mins of a 1 goal game though. He's wildly not a factor in most things he does. It's only because he's unimpressive.
He's on his 5th NHL team in the past 4 years and spent almost all of last year in the AHL.

Pretty much my point. This team is so bad right now with the injuries, they are going to subject their goalie to an onslaught for half the game. It's not a reasonable ask for Elvis to steal the game but that's what he'll need to do until we get some better players back.I’m not going to say he was great but I feel like he was good enough to win. He could have made a game saving stop I guess but maybe don’t go into a shell the entire third period.
Their surge was driven by 17 and 24. But my feeling about ZAR covers a longer timeframe than tonight’s game. The best line we had tonight was ZAR-Danforth-Olivier and people are digging at ZAR? I don’t get it. He played a good game.
First goal was the worst oneI’m not going to say he was great but I feel like he was good enough to win. He stopped two breakaways in the first.

I turned to my wife when there was 5 mins left and said “this feels like one of those games where we lose in the final minute”I have this gross, pit of the stomach feeling after those loss - kinda like that loss to Detroit. Late ugly goal.
It’s his style of play, he looks very casual while making quick and often pretty smart plays. Can’t argue he’s been less productive without Monahan and Marchenko, but he’s not a play driver and he needs line mates to set him upMaybe it’s just me being nitpicky but does it look to anyone else like Vronkov isn’t even trying? Getting too low in the O zone and making it easy 1 pass break outs for the other team, then in the D zone not getting the puck out along the boards. Just seemed to not move his feet at all. Shades of it during the Utah game too
Doesnt help he's a hammer on the powerplay and we just arent getting them. It’s his style of play, he looks very casual while making quick and often pretty smart plays. They did.It looked the the Ranger tipped Mateychuck’s clearance?
Oh man. This game has heartbreaking loss written all over it
