Yeah OK, they are out to get him, punish him, banish him. There is a reason he gets no games in the playoffs and it is not personal.
He doesn't hold any trade value.low-key could see him asking for a trade.
Two more years on his entry-level contract. A lot can change. He's still young. We'll see.Sure looks like he will get traded to another team who is disappointed with one of their picks as we are of our pick in Mesar............that said he could run to Europe or the KHL also........
Unfortunately is doesn't look good here.
Very strange...........that draft was amazing for us, landing us Slaf, Beck and of course Hutson.......and then there was Mesar.
Suzuki is built thick though, isn't he like 210lbs?
Because he's generational. He's too good for Laval.
Suzuki is a well above average skater and much closer to fast than average. I had to edit this post as I believed that he was fast but the NHL edge stats did not back that up........until I looked again and I was only looking at the 5 playoff games where we all know he was playing injured. After switching to the regular season metrics which obviously are far more accurate due to the immense amount of data relative to a 5 game playoff snapshot my eye test was vindicated!Suzy is slow as hell but his hockey sense and smarts make up for it being in the right place at the right time.
Potential gets you a sniff, results keep you there. You must know, what is it?

NHL EDGE Puck and Player Tracking Statistics - Skaters
NHL EDGE Puck and Player Tracking Statistics for skaters including skating speed, skating distance, shot speed, shot location, and zone time.edge.nhl.com
80th percentile in top skating speed
94th percentile in speed bursts over 20 mph
76th percentile in speed bursts over 22 mph
Just to be clear.......your claim was that he would be well under the 50th percentile in all 3 of these categories.
Before making such absurd, hyperbolic comments you should at least confirm that you are correct with readily available data.
When I see someone describe Suzuki as being slow, I know I'm reading someone who unreliably watches and analyses hockey. He has long, powerful strides which makes him look slower than he is, but he's legitimately one of the fastest centers in the East. The edge stats back up the eye test.
