No. But with Gignac and RHP coming back from injury, someone will be scratched. And apparently, they already said it will be Mesar. If true, that should say something about this kid.

Yeah theres a few NHL players in that lineup and the average player is 1 year away from the NHL, very strong team. They will clear some space for Mesar and Kidney next year as Beck/Roy look to graduate for good.

Thorpe is apart of the black aces for Laval with Dunlap and Dineen

Mesar and kidney will get more time next year.. they aren't prospects to be rushed. Mesar still has alot of upside compared to kidney for an NHL roll.

Nah as long as he improves next year, sign him again. Mesar is the kinda of prospect like Plekanec. Late bloomer. We knew that from the start. Don't mind him playing in the AHL for 3-4 years and then make the habs in his prime around 24-25 years old.

He truly needs to get stronger that's his main weakness, not sure what is happening in the gym but brendan Gallagher need to have chat with him.

Nah as long as he improves next year, sign him again. Mesar is the kinda of prospect like Plekanec. Late bloomer. We knew that from the start. Don't mind him playing in the AHL for 3-4 years and then make the habs in his prime around 24-25 years old.

He truly needs to get stronger that's his main weakness, not sure what is happening in the gym but brendan Gallagher need to have chat with him.

I also don't get why people are trying to kick him out of the team at the end of next year when they have another ELC year to burn without even worrying about waivers.

Everyone trying to snuff the clock out on any prospect that doesn't show out like Lane Hutson.

I have no expectations because at this point, he's just a stock among many stocks.. if he doesn't hit, nothing materially changes for us. If he does hit, then it's found money.

Plek was two way at least! Mesar is an offensive guy not producing. IMO if he doesnt progress next year by a good margin, he’s gonna go back to Europe. Thoses guys still can have a good carreer in Europe. We can’t hit on all thoses picks anyway.

Every draft we have prospects busting, it’s nothing new if we lose confidence in Mesar. It happens, like in every nhl teams.

There's also no reason to send him packing at the end of year 2 if we still have his rights and he doesn't require waivers. Players finding their way later in their career also happens.

Not in the HuGo era. Mesar could be the 1st. Anyone picked after the 3rd round can't be a bust because there is probably a 2% chance a player picked there does anything in the NHL.

In that case it would be more like offering Mesar(Pleks) but being forced to trade Roy (Balej)...

I still remember many of us being pissed we lost Balej only for hindsight to show that both Gainey and Sather missed the mark in their pro scouting projections lol
