There is no chance he is traded.Did a good job raising his trade value tonight.
ill be surprised if he ever plays a real NHL game tbhDid a good job raising his trade value tonight.
Can't wait until he makes you eat crow.
Should be a good Laval guy for the legit prospects to play with actually.
There are 4 conditionals in grammar: 0, 1, 2, and 3.You really need to learn what the word “regardless” means bro… FYI it is a sign of low intelligence when people can’t comprehend conditional situations.
If I see bad logic I call it out. I’m not calling Mesar is a bust or saying he will never make the NHL - just pointing out silly logic as I see it. The people I was addressing said that if Mesar fails to make the NHL he can still be considered a good pick. I disagree. Was Kotkaniemi a good pick because he was what we needed?
Where did I say he is a failure because he’s not in the NHL? I said none of the things you are implying.
Stop making up fake scenarios because you’re arguing with a ghost.
Can't wait until he makes you eat crow.
We'll accept a YouTube video.

Just so everyone's aware here.
So you're saying you'll have to post a video and all it takes is Mesar not cutting a spot on the team?
He's either in Laval or traded, correct. No you said basicly he'll never play in the NHL and he's destined to be an AHLer
He's either in Laval or traded, correct.
Nah. He's not pushing out CC, Slaf, Laine, Demidov out of a top 6 spot. This year, sure.
He's 20 years old who knows how he'll develop, people just need to sit back and let this development play out for a bit.
Nah. He's not pushing out CC, Slaf, Laine, Demidov out of a top 6 spot.
He doesn't fit a third line role and even then he'd have to beat out Newhook,Kapanen, Roy, Beck, Hage, Tuch, Xhekaj etc and whichever remaining vets for just four bottom 6 wing spots.
Like i said, if he even makes it, it'll be on another team.
So I'll gladly take that bet. No backsies
That's great. That still doesn't answer who's he beating out? With all due respects, holy premature batman!
Generally, speaking in absolutes from the get-go is a good way to have to eat humble pie one day.
And that's speaking from experience.
I'm quite skeptical of Mesar's NHL future too given what I saw of him his first year in Kitchener, but even then I still think it's WAY too early to just write him off as a non-NHLer just yet.
Hockey, like all sports, is highly unpredictable/non-linear as far as development goes, and that's the whole fun of it. You never really know what to expect until a player proves himself over a period of time in the NHL, until the proverbial "fat lady sings" as some say.
Taken on his own, Mesar shows very real talent, is blazing fast, and has shown some interesting potential upside offensively despite very obvious shortcomings and personal flaws as a player.
So yeah, I think you should reserve early judgments on Mesar, see how he cooks in the AHL, form a stronger opinion on him through watching how he fares against pro competition, and then maybe revise/solidify your take later this year then go from there.
But that's enough prattling for one late night binging of HfBoards posts.
I bid thee good day, and wish you well.

So who is he beating out?
With that many ifs and maybes, I might even suit up for them, who knows.Maybe one of those guys gets a long-term injury, maybe one of those busts.
We don't know, and the information we have isn't enough to determine either way.
So our best bet is to wait and see. Simple enough, right?
That's great. That still doesn't answer who's he beating out?
Except that in reality, it's not in a vacuum. Fortunalely it seems we're getting near a point where we finally have too much depth and it just becomes more of a numbers game in his case.
The way she goes.
With that many ifs and maybes, I might even suit up for them, who knows.
Hold on... you're telling me there's no guarantees in life and no one really knows the future?Yeah I mean everyone is excited about the depth we have, obviously. But are you pretending the Laine situation plays out exactly how we want? There are absolutely no guarantees here. If it does turn out that's amazing but there are plenty of scenarios where things don't go according to plan.
Even if Laine plays out it's ridiculous to assume that you know where things will be in 2-3 years. You don't, obviously. None of us do. What about Dachs health, is it still good years from now? Does Caufield continue to improve? What about the health of everyone else? There are so many scenarios that might play out. That being said, I am also hugely bullish on all of this but you never know.
Independent of all that is Mesar. I'm sure he is no dummy and can see how tough it will be to make the top 6 here. Secondly, he knows the limitations of his size versus his good buddy Slaf. Give this guy a bit of time at the pro level to overcome these issues. Sometimes adversity creates tough s.o.b s and we can certainly afford this guy the time and space to become that. We'll see
Hold on... you're telling me there's no guarantees in life and no one really knows the future?
Just saying you're kinda stating the obvious here and that "there's no guarantees" and "nobody knows for sure" isn't much of an argument for anything.Wait.. Are you a troll?.. Did I get caught up arguing with someone who isn't worth arguing with?
You're the guy pretending to know the future, not me.
What? You really live in your own little world, don't you?
