This sounds like concussion related vertigo.
But I'm not a doctor... But I play one on hfboards.

Brooks saying its concussion related now? What happened to he cant put weight on his left leg? The media coverage of this team is shameful.
To me it sounds like both... He hurt his leg after falling due to vertigo (common with post concussion syndrome).
oh 100%...Seems plausible. However the folks who cover the team telling fans not to speculate, while they themselves speculate, is a good microcosm of the state of journalism nowadays.
I think the teams also tend to make "jobs for the boys" available for guys who have to retire young, if they want to stay around it. I know Jiri Fischer is still with the Red Wings organization. He worked so hard for it to crumble in 24 hours, just sad for him overall as a human, forget about the player.
At least for his sake, he signed a nice contract.
Because, let's be real, the only reason he's even playing at the level he is, or got he opportunities he did, is his dad. It’s just ironic as hell that LeShinsplints was on the ice with Fil. Like the hate for this plug is exponentially greater than it was for guys like Tanner Glass and Freddy Claeson.
This franchise. More first round picks with prematurely ended careers than anyone.
Thanks for the pick me up after the Chytil news.Might as well get depressed and recap the last 30 years of drafting first round forwards, shall we?

Blackburn career ending injury
cherepanov dies tragically
Sauer career ending injury
Kloucek ending injury
Now Chytil hell of a player bright bright future a rare gem we found
