That's very logical Spock. :laugh::sarcasm:

Live long and prosper! :D

Still upset that my little anime buddies didn't make it!

Vancouver

In 2002, during the Japan/Korea world cup, when Korea beat Italy, the Korean took on Robson street downtown Vancouver until early in the morning During their celebration they were serving free drinks and food, and once it was over they left the streets relatively clean. The World cup is a beautiful thing despite all the corruption.

I didn't watch it because of the jinx.

:thumbu::thumbu::thumbu::thumbu:

If we win against either England or Colombia in the quarter we will meet the winner of Russia and Croatia in the semi. Neither seems unbeatable, win there we will be in our second WC final (lost to Brazil 5-2 and a 17 year old Pele). We actually have plus stats against England, not sure if we ever have played Colombia.

congrats. any team on that side of the bracket can make it to the final. Zlatan is probably not very happy right now. :)

I can tell you, when Greece won the Euro, the Greeks in Montreal celebrated all night on Park Avenue between Jean-Talon and Mount-Royal, the streets were left in a disaster.

This is very much cultural and not specific event related.
