As has been expressed and observed on countless occasions already, he's also among the best at holding the offensive blueline. Very smart and effective pinches. I comment on them all the time in the GDTs, but some people (*ahem) prefer to ignore the details if they can't be looked back at easily two weeks from now in a clickable chart on behindthenet.

If he's so good at holding the offensive blue line, why do we score so little with him on the ice? Especially considering how many offensive starts he gets. If he was as effective as you say, we'd see it translate into goals or at least shots for. It must be that everyone else suddenly starts sucking when murray is playing his best, exhibiting his offensive zone wizardry. Any line holding he does is just overstated. Like a 4 year old's painting you put on your fridge. It's a work of art, because you don't expect jack **** out of him.

You might be confusing the blue lines. He's one of the best in the league at keeping it in his own zone, that's for sure.

Price is the Jets best player so far...wow another gift goal.

When you're struggling to score your goalie can't give up 2 goals like that...equals a loss.

When you struggle to score, you find way to score, you dont blame your goalie who has been your best player this season by a mother****ing big margin because he let in 2 goals in 30 shots.

But of course, you would rather blame our MVP over the coach, who is basically perfect in your eyes.

Briere scores a couple goals, and Bourni's spot is taken away from him.

Bourni makes Pleks line so much more versatile, creative, and quick. Briere has no business playing top 6 minutes at even strength at this stage in his career.

Briere should be there more than Eller, who hasn't done a lick of **** for months. Pathetic.

i think dd is going to go down as my most hated hab. it's not that he's the worse, it's how he's used.

i hate it, and i hate watching his style of play. it's sickening.

Eller has taken a huge step backward this season... But I was talking about Bournival. Seems like Therrien wants him to take a step backward as well. Or maybe he truly believes Bourni's a 4th line grinder?
