Canada doesnt deserve a medal, let alone the gold.

The fins deserve gold, about to go 4-0. We are playing like crap, just go home now and forfeit everything.
yeah, that's what I'm thinking. this is rediculous. I thought a 2-0 loss to Switzerland would have this team playing hard. apparently not. they better pick up their game in the 2nd and 3rd. so far, they're pretty pathetic.

Canada has no defensive structure. Sound familiar fellow Leaf fans?

The line pairings are horrible. Nash & Bertuzzi paired with Thornton, three guys with no Olympic experience and who appear to love to take stupid penalties (Nash running the goalie and Bertuzzi against the Swiss with standing in the crease).

McCabe NOT on the Power Play against Switzerland, but Pronger and Bertuzzi were (and managed to take penalties during that time).

In this game Canada keeps dumping the puck in and letting Finland pick it up. They're not fighting for it. They're not chasing it. Most of the time, they don't even take it in past the red line and its icing.

These are all things that good coaching would change in between periods. Something Canada lacks.

Great period. 2-0 against Team Canada is always a great result. Expect Team Canada added another gear and going really strong in the second. I think it's going to be a tough period for Team Finland.

Team Finland had a strong period for all aspects of the game. The tempo was really fast. So fast in fact that I doubt they can keep the pace up for the entire game.

It's all Gretzky fault.
There is not ONE defenseman in team Canada that I would have picked.

Also there are way too many slow forwards.

Crosby would have been in my team.
Bergeron would have been in my team.
Staal and Savard too.

This team was badly picked. Simple enough.

The absence of Spezza and Staal is not the biggest problem on this team.

The defense is just slow and stupid.

And the entire team is lazy as well.

If i hear this one more time iam going to puke.

What about Prongers complete inability to contain Koivu on the Finns first goal? A guy have his size was able to muscle him off the puck?

Yeah I agree, Pronger looks like he's trying to make a strong bid for worst defenceman in the tourny.

Damn

Canada plays like they don't care...

Plus the reffing is completely one sided...

Its going to be hard to score when all they do is shot weak softies from the blueline

If there is one thing making me vomit is seeing that little midget St Louis and his ********** buddy Lecavalier. Are these two even aware where they are?

Gotta hand it to the Finn's, they've done the their homework and have all of the Canadien players tendencies figured out and countered. I smell another Hockey Canada and USA Hockey summit coming up after this fiasco.

I don't know *** is wrong with Team Canada. I'm sure they will come out strong in the 2nd but as it stands right now, they don't deserve to win this game and win a gold medal. Go Canada!!

And the competition is in his own team.

Canadian fans need to relax, this is a meaningless game. The tournament starts in the qf:s.

McCabe wasn't on the ice for either goal yet the comments about him continue.

Oh but that would negate the argument that Canada's lack of success is directly attributed to Pat Quinn and Bryan McCabe.
I don't get this crap either. 2 goals scored, both from our D losing their men, Pronger, Bouwmeester, Blake (although he had a bad break) and I believe Redden. Regehr's been slow, taken a penalty, beaten to the puck and a give-away machine, yet McCabe is the one being jumped on. Foote and McCabe were the only ones who didn't make glaring errors that period. Unless you count the one on one where McCabe forced the Fin to go behind the net and dump it into 2 Canadian sweater and then Neale said he was "beat".

Our forwards aren't creating offense, we can't come out of our zone. This seems like an all-star team with no talent.
