GDT: Feb 15th Chicago at Toronto

Conor Timmins hasn’t played in a game since Jan. 27 against the Ottawa Senators, but it's clear the Toronto Maple Leafs have plans for the young defenseman.

In that time, the club signed Timmins to a two-year, $2.2 million contract extension after an 18-game run that saw the 24-year-old score a goal and add 11 assists.

But the Leafs had an optimal look and a healthy complement of defensemen since that time and Timmins had to wait until a performance-based need for a move would occur.

Evidently, that comes at the expense of Justin Holl

"His game at times has been tremendous and has helped us through some real tough times, he's a reason our defense has been a constant for us in terms of his contributions, but at times it has also slipped," Keefe said of Holl. "To me, the other night was one of those nights. We've been looking to get a guy like Timmins to get him going and for someone to take out. So, don't give me a reason."

Imagine how much that sucka finna destroy the pitiful hawks tomorrow sire...... can we even laugh enough at that. Mrazek is also finna play in net. Today "they" will start jaxson stauber. The Chicago organization is in shambles after the horrible sexual scandal and quenneville getting fired and all. Gm stepping down and all. Matthews finna destro that Chi ass like cobra did destro g.i.joe back in their hay day.

Holl being out for Timmins is good. Holl has worked very hard this season and deserves some time off. In fact, he may be in line for a raise…with another team.

Kerfoot obvious place holder for legit 2nd line left winger at trade deadline.

We need physical 2 way winger up front. Physical shutdown PK specialist on #6 D. (No..Holl is not physical…tall doesn’t mean physical)

Near a fear factor back there.

Honestly - if JVR could be had cheap from Philly with Kerfoot going the other way - not bad

The only other sample they have of him elsewhere was when he was playing injured.

I'm hoping they are showcasing Kerfoot so he can be part of some type of trade because he needs to be fired into the sun.
