Canada's 1st five goal medal streak in 1997 and Paul Romanuck's "The drive for five has arrived!" proclamation, Canada vs. USA in the semi final shootout in 2007 and Matt Halischuck's OT goal in 2008.

Interestingly, I was actually upset with Eberle's trying goal against the Russians in 2009. I was at work watching it in the break room on a lap top when it was tied late in the third. While I was gone, both the Russians and Eberle scored and when I got back to see the crowd cheering I thought we had taken the lead late in the game, only to find out the game was still tied.

I don't know how anyone can't say the USA-Canada gold medal game from 2017. That was IMO one of the best hockey games played since the 2014 Western Conference Finals

Not even with a Free car for Poster of the Tournament?

Because there is no free car or Poster of the Tournament

But would have to say it was my top WJC moment to.... it's my first time paying attention to the tournament, but still :D
Nope, not even with a free car. it was awesome to win it at home in 2016 but this was something more.

Yeah I wouldn't even call that clip my favorite "moment" the entire tournament was a treat to watch. Not just Gibson but his performance was definitely one to remember.

All told that was probably my favorite American team to watch since I started watching the WJC.

100%. I lived and breathed with that 2013 team. I was so down in the dumps with the lack of hockey during the lockout (and had literally just graduated from college, a weird ass time in my life).

Such good memories of waking up at crazy random hours to watch the games. I don't think many things will top the feelings I had when we racked Canada in the semis. I knew it was a wrap from there on out and there was no way we were losing to Sweden.

I think I was way too nervous to truly appreciate the 2017 GMG for what it was at the time.

Off the top of my head, that's in my top 3 for best hockey games I've watched. Being on the losing side sucks though.
