OT: Favorite S****Y Beer

I hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful weekend. Thank you to all who serve/served.

I don’t drink much beer these days, but when I do, I usually will have one or two heavy ones or an IPA.

Sometimes, though, In an unironic way, I enjoy a Miller Lite. It’s the only shitty beer I can half tolerate. Other people like Bud Lite, Coors, my cousin inexplicably likes Busch Lite, the hipsters love Pabst…

HF family, if you are having a shitty beer this weekend, what is your preference?

I’m too lazy to create a poll.

I can't handle any of the craft beers (they bloat me) and the dark beers I don't like at all

So for me that leaves Corona and Coors light

As far as shitty beer goes, you just can't beat a $2 Narragansett. When the bar I used to do trivia at switched from Gansett to PBR for their lowest-end beer, it was a sad day.

My other hot take: I kind of like Coors Light

That said, I'm not a big drinker, I only really drink at social gatherings (and I went to one last night and am recovering from that). I do like beer for cooking though. I can make bomb beer mac n cheese or a beer cheese sauce for sausages (after boiling in the beer of course).

When I was young, after a day of labor in the hot sun, I’d drain two Rolling Rock tallboys and life was good.

If hot/humid I do prefer a near frozen Coors.

But really don’t drink much beer these days. More rum but that’s still fairly infrequent.

Beer....HAS to be cold....I don't get how people can drink an even cool beer. I want to pull it out of a cooler swimming in ice.

Went to a party once where they were more wine and mixed drinks people....they went out in the morning, bought beer off the shelf, left it in the box and put it in a cooler....with an unopened bag of ice. Brutal
