What position did/do you play? All the forward positions, but mostly LW

What's your favorite Arena? Eddie Edgar was my home rink. Compuware is nice. I vaguely remember going to Detroit Olympia and it was awesome. I would love to be a season ticket holder in Arizona these days, 5000 seat stadium to watch Connor McDavid, yes please. But pretty much a rink is a rink, just give me good ice.

What's your favorite hockey stick? I used wooden Koho mostly in my youth.

Who is/was your favorite player? Wendel Clark for sure. He's the reason I'm a Leafs fan.

That would have been one-of if not the final purchase from my old man I think

Probably in the $200-250 range at the time.

I cap my stick purchases at $150-200 now and they usually last 2-3 years of year-round play before the end of the blade turns into an edge weapon.
One of the last things my Dad bought me was a set of goal pads, the same as Bower wore - leather stuffed with horsehair - although mine were an inch or two longer.

My God those things were heavy, even before they got wet. One of my sons is a goalie, and his pads, plus blocker and trapper, weigh less than one of my old pads.

I always liked those Detroit teams (Compuware/Little Ceasars)

Ya Wendel was many peoples favorite player during those years.
When I was young me and a couple buddies actually saw him walking out of Upper Canada Mall in Newmarket one time.
