Favorite Habs player of all time that wasn't 'A Star'

Kirk Muller. He was close to a star but really he was a tough plugger who could score and lead. He was always smiling on the ice too. I like watching players who love the sport.

If you see Koivu as a star than Zednik and Higgins. If not Saku will forever be my favorite hab

Even today, teams would give their eyeteeth for a player like Kirk Muller. He was a star.

We could mention Eric Desjardin and John LeClair. They became stars for Philly too bad we traded our best D and up and coming Power forward.

These two helped us beat LA for our last Cup.

Would you guys consider Halak a star? I wouldn't but he was my favourite until he was traded, still is my favourite goaltender after Pricey. Halak was a BEAST in the playoffs that year:p:

Oleg Petrov first came to mind but I also loved Lyle Odelein too.

Richard Zednik, damn I loved when he controlled the puck, even though he was pretty limited in that aspect...
