FAQ: Going to Anaheim and Honda Center

  • Xenforo Cloud is doing server maintenance Thurdsay 13th at 9 AM GMT. Downtime is to be expected during the process. Server changes were implemented recently to cope with the traffic surge last week. This seems to be affecting the user login, so please anyone experiencing this, log out and clear the browser cache. We expect to have this issue solved once the maintenance is complete.
  • We are currently aware of "log in/security error" issues that are affecting some users. We apologize and ask for your patience as we try to get these issues fixed.
I didn't see a ticket exchange thread so apologies if this post isin the wrong place.

Morrissey at the Observatory on Thursday has led me to sell my Game 3 tickets and purchase tickets for Game 1 with the proceeds; however, one of my buddies who also has Kings tickets is left out to dry by himself becuase of this and our other ticket partner having to coach CIF swimming that night.

Due to this, I'm wondering if there is anyone on here who has two tickets to Game 1, can't go, but would be willing to trade for tickets to Game 3 instead.

Send me a PM if this is a possibility and, again, I apologize if this is in the wrong thread.

Also, this is probably the one and only time I apologize for anything on your board

I have 2 tickets for sale in 443 row B if anyone is interested. I'd rather we sell to a Ducks fan then a Kings fan.

PM me if you are interested.

Just found out about a job opportunity in Orange County. Looking at the cost of living calculators, it appears the salary would have to be about $165K for it to be worth the move, considering cost of living and wanting some sort of a decent increase in order to switch companies. What do employers typically offer for Engineering lower level management type positions? Is $165K a reasonable figure to ask for or will they look at me like I'm nuts if I ask for that?

Sounds a little high to me but I'm not a headhunter. You would be better served calling a few of them in the area. Tell them you are considering moving to the area and would like to know what kind of salaries they pay for people like you.

Companies out here have been eliminating middle to lower management for quite a few years now. Short of filling a technical niche it's more of a buyer's market than a seller's market when it comes to labor. YMMV.

The watch party is inside the honda center correct? I googled it and couldn't find a whole lot of info. Are there tickets, or is it just show up and whatnot. Food vendors open inside?

Parking lot party again. Too freaking hot for that. The one they did for the Stadium Series on the Grand Terrace was awesome, not sure why they aren't doing any more.

So the Team Store is having their big sale soon, and they have this very special offer:

Special Offer
Spend more than $1,000 and be entered to win 2 tickets to a 2014-15 Ducks regular season game!

That's right, spend over a grand and you might win tickets to....one game! Come on, guys.

So a piece of paper taped to the door appears the best way to post holiday hours at the team store instead of the website or recorded message that says they are open.

The weird shaped building going in across the way appears to be a new high tech train station. It was supposed to be done last year?

LoL. Yeah, because the low tech train station at Angel Stadium is bursting with traffic?

So I am pretty much deadlocked on flying out to the proverbial homeland in February. I am sure a lot of my favorite joints are gone since I left in 2004, so where are some good places to eat? I do wanna get food at Selanne's Steak Tavern for obvious reasons, but where are the good local spots?

Also I plan on surprising my dad at a Ducks game, so I am all sorts of excited.

Section 421 row S ?

I got sec 421 row S in Honda center for teemu night. is that the last row in the upper deck ??

Tickets are shipping out this week, hopefully there is a date on them but its really been hit or miss on the last few years.

Cool, I either get them from my STH friends if they can't go or 714 Tix has them too but wanted to see if the date was known yet to plan.
