FAQ: Going to Anaheim and Honda Center

I am going to the watch party Oct 9th at Tilted Kilts. I've never been to one before, how are they? Do they give away stuff?

Hi everyone,

I've recently moved to San Diego from Columbus and was thinking about making the trip up on the 24th with some friends. The OP said that there aren't a lot of sell outs and you can usually buy at the box office the day of the game. I was wondering if scalping is a good option out here, or if the vendors would not take kindly to an away fan. We were looking for 4 tickets towards the front of the 400s, probably in the $30-40 range - and I saw a few for $40 about 5 rows up - I was just wondering if you had any inside info!

P.S. We are quiet people, we will behave ourselves. We all hate the Kings.

This place is across the street from the Honda Center. Good prices, no extra fees, and very reputable.

I tend to get some good prices on Craigslist. The Ducks site is running a deal for this game too. http://tickets.anaheimducks.com/ColumbusDaySale.aspx

Who wants to be a hero and next time they go up to the Honda Center take pictures of LITERALLY. EVERYTHING for me? I plan on sending my dad up there to buy the goods, but he doesn't regularly go to Anaheim.

mostly interested in things that are not jerseys, hats, or t shirts

Not sure where to post this, but what all do they have going on pre-game for the home opener on Friday? I know there's the red carpet entrance and all but I figure that will be a zoo and I wouldn't get a shot at any pictures or autographs anyways. Is there anything else they have that they announced/did in previous years that they will do this year?

Not really, I think it is pretty much just the red carpet thing with the players. Was fun to be there the year Teemu made Cam chauffeur him to the entrance with a hat and everything...in Teemu's maybach.

Hey guys. Looking for 4 tickets to the Jackets-Ducks game on Friday. We are thinking we want something in the first few rows of the terrace level. Are these generally good seats? I saw that the Blues game had some empty seats, so would scalping tickets right before the game be a good way to go? I'm assuming that the Blue Jackets will draw less of a crowd than the Blues did, and that a sellout is not likely.

If you get first row of the terrace level be careful about getting seats 1 and 2. They have clear extensions of the rail right at the stairs so if someone is drunk they don't fall over. It can be a little distracting especially if you're in a corner (like section 437) because the edges obstruct the glass a little bit with the angle you're looking at the ice.

I sit in the 3rd seat 1st row, so it's out of my view.

As far as scalping I'll plug 714 tickets. It's right across the street and they usually have tickets for cheap. Or since Columbus isn't much of a draw I'm sure you could just get some from the box office right before the game.

Ticket exchange from ticketmaster has some really cheap good seats all the time.
