What should the cap be set at? (in millions)

Welp I thought Markstrom was gone or else I would have taken him instead of Freddie to save cap

@cgf just wanted to point out that Schwartz is LW only, I really wanted him but my LW was full

How are we determining that again? As long as one of FF, Hubie or Schwartz qualify for the right side I should be good there.

But Other Hughes as a winger, I am concerned about being allowed.

Just based off of Capfriendly positions if you search by their name. Ya unfortunately looks like Hughes is C only... uhh just checked quickly, none of Ubie, Schwartz, or FF have RW status.

Nurse - Cernak fills out the defense as the Duncan Siemens - Duncan Siemens pairing.

Two peas in a pod

I believe this to be your only compliant setup.

Schwartz - O'Reilly - Seguin
Forsberg - Huberdeau - Kakko
Farabee - Karlsson - Rakell
Bellemare - Hughes - ____

With the option to obviously switch players up or down if they don't switch positions, but not if they do.

I still love EK but in a game like this I could not justify his cap hit.

Plus, damn you Bellemare & Faksa pickers!

Höbödöö a center?

Unfortunately I don't think Huberdeau is a center

2016-17: Took 9 faceoffs all season (Fewer than Shawn Thornton and Michael Sgarbossa!)

2017-18: Took 44 faceoffs all season (Four more than Michael Haley!)

2018-19: Took 19 faceoffs all season (Fewer than Troy Brouwer and Juho Lammikko!)

2019-20: Took 61 faceoffs in 69 games (Brian Boyle took 376 faceoffs in 39 games)

Yeah, I don't think so either but the rules are the rules and that's literally the only way @cgf's line-up doesn't break them.¨

Do I mind if it does? Not exactly, but I'm not talking opinions.

Jonathan Huberdeau - CapFriendly - NHL Salary Caps

Nobody's obviously enforcing anything, but if we vote on these lineups, remember that @cgf f***ed his up royally. ;)

He can always make trades. I can help him and he can help me ;)

Yup, goes to show how much he's actually valued right now. Still a very good player, but not worth his cap hit in his current form.

Looks like a few teams had space for him and a defensive slot. Interesting. Wonder if we'll see OEL, Hammer, Orlov, Fowler, McDonagh or the like go.

While I used a lot of cap up pretty quickly I think I overcorrected a little particularly on defense. I think I could've fit one of those guys in pretty well. Oh well.

I probably could've allocated some more money on defense, but then I can't spend 28 million on the middle lane, and that's just bad management.
