Eh.. that's fair, but if that's the case it kind of f***s of my team because i'd have Dahlin - Rielly - Slavin down the left side, which is my fault but really makes my team imbalanced. If it didn't mess it up so much I wouldn't care as much.

I mean obviously yeah let's try and not switch picks, but also it's two picks afterwards that don't seem like they were going to be affected, so I don't think it matters at all.

I was thinking about him, Bread & Hubs at the top of round 4 and had hoped that their contracts would cause one of the others to slide to my next set of picks.

I was hoping Hubs would fall to me as he seems to be under appreciated for some reason but Marner and Drai on the top line is just as drool worthy.

I'm certainly glad that I'll be able to send ROR & Seth out there against any of these overloaded top lines

This board can be really stubborn about appreciating talents on other teams that were at any point compared to our boys. We're seeing it in the regular shade being thrown at Quinn in the Cale thread...which fair enough, at least that's the place for it if it's going to happen...and we did the same thing with both Marner & Drae when we were hyping Mikko*. I think that the combination of that pettiness + him playing for such a forgettable team is the main reason why Hubie feels so under-rated on this board.

Eh, Hughes gets plenty of love on this board. He’s actually more highly regarded here than over on the main board imo.

I agree that Huberdeau is definitely underrated. He was a bit of a late bloomer kind of like MacKinnon, but he’s one of the best wings in the game now, for sure.

Side note: This is my first fantasy draft where there is such a long time period between picks. I didn’t really like it at first, but I’m actually enjoying it now. It gives you a lot of time to plan out your team and you get to see all the squads slowly take shape.
