I sure hope nobody here is actually buying Fanatics gear...

These aren't Fanatics jerseys. They are Adidas Primegreen jerseys, the previous generation of jerseys. That is why they are discounted.

With that said, the current Fanatics doesn't actually make any of their jerseys. Their retail equivalent to the jerseys that are linked in the OP is called the Fanatics Premium jersey. It is actually made in the exact same Indonesian factory as those Adidas jerseys were.

Then with the actual Made In Canada on ice jerseys, once again, they are made in the same factory by the same partner that made the Adidas on ice jerseys. That would be SP Jerseys. The factory is in Quebec.

The big different is that Adidas materials are proprietary, so the Fanatics jerseys use similar but different materials to the Adidas jerseys.

These are a very good deal. If you buy a Fanatics gift card at Costco first, these come out to about $73 all in after tax.

Most of the special event jerseys that Fanatics have released have really nice design elements in person if you see the actual Made In Canada Authentic Pro jersey.

Their marketing is subpar because none of these really translate in the marketing material, but if you see something like the Blackhawks WC jersey or the Team Canada four nations jersey in person, they are beautiful. Keep in mind, I am talking about the actual on ice version that retails for a ridiculous $510. (Although, you can get them for about $300 if you can find a 30 percent coupon and stack it with the Costco discount.)

@benjiv1 claimed that there are some design elements to the red part of our crest on the new alternate jersey. Fanatics seems to be putting a lot of interesting textured designs that don't translate well to photographs, but when you see them in person they look great.

Based on their history, I am not confident long-term if the plan is for Fanatics to eventually take over the manufacturing side, but otherwise the jerseys they have released so far while working with their partners like SP Jerseys have been fantastic.
