Keeping a high inventory of anything isnt a good business strategy. Its dead money.

For people who know what they're doing, buying inventory is a sound strategy because when clients need a product its extremely hard to find inventory.

Specially now going forward with the new elect pres, the economy is going to sky rocket, there wont be enough inventory to support the market and prices will sky rocket.

This is the time to get ready and arm up

Call me crazy, but it feels like the wealthy should be put into a blender.

It's been a good while since I bought anything with a NHL badge on it and it looks like it'll be much, much longer until that happens again. It's the shittiest clothing brand possible, too. $95 for something that'll fall apart on its third wash. What a miserable world consumerism has delivered us.

If you’re in the U.S., Fanatics CC merchant offers are pretty consistent. I have an AmEx offer for 20 off 100 right now, for example. Alternatively, their gift cards can be found regularly discounted. Costco has a 2 pack of $50 GCs for $80 right now.

If you’re comfortable sharing your data, the shopping portals can bring down the net price even more. I’ve found Capital One Shopping to be particularly generous in that regard (targeted 18% through their app for me).

Probably just me, but 100$ for a t-shirt seems fine when you're selling to a demographic that is happy to pay hundreds for a game ticket.

Stop feeding your consumerist addiction and you'll stop feeding these ripoff artists.

I still have shirts and jerseys from 15-20 years ago that I've kept in good condition and continue to wear. Koho and CCM branded merch that was very good quality. The stuff I bought from Reebok just was not anywhere near as good and I'm not even going to roll the dice on this trash from Fanatics.
20 or so years ago I bought several dozen CCM NHL shirts, many of them with player names and numbers on the back. Got them on clearance for $3-5 each. I've worn the crap out of them over that time. Two of them have some holes in them, all the others are still in good shape. Looking at the fabric and stitching compared to shirts I've bought in recent years, there's no comparison. I received a Fanatics shirt a few years ago as a gift. Was sized oddly and the letters peeled after a couple washes. Was embarrassed to even take it to Goodwill.

The Devils send emails before home games and these were 2 "merch of the match" items. Absolutely ridiculous prices for what these are. It's not even a full zip up and even if it was I still wouldn't pay it. I simply don't buy any Devils gear anymore unless I find something at a deep discount at Marshalls, TJ Maxx, Kohls or Costco

I'd rather spend $100 on a quality shirt than $50 on junk. However, the fanatics shirt is almost assuredly junk. So....

But I'll gladly pay $100+ for a Lululemon shirt.

Companies are following the Netflix model - if we jack up our prices, and lose about 30% of our current subscribers, we will still come out ahead. And we bet most people will just suck it up and pay whatever we ask them to pay, because most people don't like downgrading their lives.

its 9 bucks for a pound of butter (non-sale price) 6 bucks for a dozen of eggs 3-5 bucks for a loaf of bread in Canada .

but minimum wage is 17 ish so I guess we can all afford this.

some of the car payments that the younger folks I work with have blow my mind . 700$ a month to lease a nissan rogue , what !
And then their insurance is crazy.

Is your car red? Is it 2 door or 4? Oh you have a red 2 door hot hatch, well sorry young one you are f***ed and you're male aswell and your highschool grade average is.......well very average so yeah, $300 a month insurance for you.

Why the colour, amount of doors, sex, and grade performance in school matters I have no idea.

Talk about "profiling" and yet it's been that way for decades.

Never paid that ever for butter, or eggs.
Don’t forget the 32% difference in the dollar.
