Absolutely flabbergasted. With Tolvanen I thought there was a chance he'd clear, and he almost did. There is absolutely no way Fabbro clears, none what so ever.

Fabbro will easily be a top 4 dman on whatever team picks him up.

Pretty sad for a team that now has Carrier and Schenn as RHD. I guess you could now count Josi as a right side D but he f***ing sucks over there.

I’m really happy for Fabbro. He’s been in such a strange purgatory here the last few seasons, it’s great that he’ll finally get a chance to play somewhere and prove himself before hitting free agency. I get that he wanted to stay in the city, but this going to be much much better for his career.

Plus maybe it means Stastney is nearing a return? :dunno:

Fan hopes: Trotz turns around and trades for Zegras

Fan nightMare: they trade for John Tavares

But what we know this might lead to the team winning 15 in a row

Hey guys there’s a chance Oilers may have a chance in picking him up. Anyone want to give a scouting report and the reason why he’s not been playing?

Decent second pair stay at home d. Got on the wrong side of our coaching staff after helping Josi have his best season ever. We have been utterly mystified why he not been playing. I, for one, am glad he will get a chance to contribute somewhere else.

Hey y'all, there’s a chance Oilers may have a chance in picking him up. Anyone want to give a scouting report and the reason why he’s not been playing?

He's a defensive defenseman, don't expect any offense. For reasons unknown, he has been on the orgs bad side. Makes one error during a game, gets sent to the doghouse for the next series of games.

It would be fitting for him to join Ekky and Arvy and get out of Perdville.

Defensively-responsible, defensively-oriented #4-#6. Not physical, so relies more on positional play (which is fairly strong) and can get pushed off the puck. Safe in transition and in the offensive zone. Poor at holding the puck in the zone.

Great another LHD. Guess we'll have to move Lauzon to right side where he's even worse.

Bruno is married to Josi being a RHD.
Bruno is married to lauzon and carrier being pair.
Bruno wants schenn's "toughness" and fabbro doesnt do that and neither can play offhand so....

Fabbro was never gonna get a fair shake
I've watched his whole career and would have zero confidence he'll ever reach his potential. On the other hand, if we're going to start trading assets and taking shots, I'd rather it be on younger high skill guys than more vets.
Im more concerned we already dont use our young players with slight deficiencies in their games. Why spend lots of resources on another one to add to the pile of neglect

Zegras has 2 strikes against him. His age. He's not a "serial winner".

Tavares is the right age for in-house retirement. But we'd have to make some additional moves for his cap hit. Also not a "cereal" winner. :)
