Probably worth pointing out that the goalie poor teams (Toronto, Edmonton and Carolina) have not done much to rectify the situation.

Probably worth pointing out that Toronto and Edmonton are over the cap, also.
It is also worth pointing out whether they consider him as an upgrade. It won't be easy to move him, but I think Yzerman has made up his mind and he is going to move him one way or another.

Hell yeah, he was a great addition, especially for the price. We also added Bobby Ryan that off season. And both started like gangbusters. Ryan might have gotten us a first if he "hadn't gotten hurt". I think he had like 18 goal in 37 games. Buy wow to me that Ryan black hole.😌😔🤤
I totally forgot we had rayn for those very forgettable 33 games.

He only had 7 goals and 14 points

I quite liked Fabbri. A great character guy, who could score. Unfortunately injuries always a concern, and slightly too high cap hit. Good luck to him!

Yeah I didn't look it up. I definitely thought it was a little better than that. But even still didn't he start out hot and then completely dry up. Like maybe 5 of those goals were in the first 7 games? I remember being surprised and a little excited, even if only for the inevitable pick coming back at tdl.

Going to miss his energy. He was not that great in his own zone, but I never felt like it was for lack of effort, he just was not that good at it.

Does anyone know what is going on with Gage Alexander? He hasn't played a game all season according to Elite Prospects. Is he hurt?

Seems strange that we would even trade for him and then not even give him a chance. All I can find is that he was called up to the griffs 3 weeks ago but he hasn't suited up at all for Toledo or Grand rapids. No mention of injury.

Gage was a nothing throw in likely to remove his contract from their team. I doubt Yzerman acquired him with any hope of him being something, given his stats being bad last season. Teams try to keep contracts even when they can, which is why lots of times there are very low end throw ins.

A good guy with horrible knees. This guy needs to take a long look at his future. He reminds me of Jim Fox. I actually know the guy (we aren't friends or anything like that, but same circle for a bit). Each injury slowed him down a bit. Soon he found hits he once avoided, he had to absorb. Like Jim, it won't get better for Fabbri.

Saw Jimmy play in Junior, great at that age a bit niore like a stockier DBC than Fabbri. He at least was healthy enough long enough to establish himself as a pretty good NHLer. With Fabs the injuries came so soon we'll never know how good he could have been. He lost a lot of development time and more later.

I figured, but i thought he may get at least 1 start in the ECHL at least.

How the hell is already ready to play?

It was just a flesh wound.
