All the easy deals done today, and maybe a couple biggies where players are traded to change teams.

One can hope! If we can get Draisaitl for Bernier +. It would be like having a second top 10 pick this year. Let's see what Nonis has up his sleeves and he keeps surprising us with more shrewd deals.

Wouldn't get your hopes up. Bernier doesn't carry that kind of value, unless you want to add Rielly and perhaps more to that package?

Glencross deal is a real good one for Calgary. Burke is killing it out there. Good young team on the rise. More assets to the cupboard.

Absolutely not. We do not trade a young goalie with elite potential for a late 1st which is more like a 2nd. Only way I trade Bernier to Edmonton is for their 1st this year.

No less. If not, then we would be more than happy to keep Jonathan. #1 goalies are like #1C... extremely hard to find.

All signs point to a fit, if Nonis and Mac T can work out the compensation part. Lavoie is very credible, been following him for years.
